The Floyd County Baptist Association has partnered with the Department of Family and Children Services to provide Backpacks of Love.
These backpacks are filled with items that will provide help and comfort for children in Floyd County when they are taken into DFCS custody. Many times these children placed in custody while at school - not having a chance to go home and get their belongings. They have nothing but the clothes on their back. The items in the backpacks help the foster parents get by until they are able to obtain necessary items for the children.
